About Dr. Hany Reyad

Education

Dr. Hany Reyad was born in Jordan and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in 2014 with magna cum laude honors. Dr. Reyad then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree with summa cum laude honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2018. During his dental school academic career, Dr. Reyad received multiple awards including the 2017 Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Health Scholarship, the 2018 Dr. Robert Savage Memorial Award for exemplary patient care, the 2018 Chancellor’s Student Service Award, and has been recognized for his participation as a Peer Mentor for underclassmen. In 2018, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Sigma Chapter of the national Dental Honor Society. Also, Dr. Reyad was the founding president of the American Dental Education Association UIC chapter and served as president of the Christian Medical and Dental Association UIC chapter.

Dr. Reyad is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA),

American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS).

 

Home Life

In his free time, Dr. Reyad loves to serve his local community. He has volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House to serve meals for children undergoing major procedures, has organized and collected Christmas gifts for children in third world countries for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, and has worked with Goldie’s Place to help provide free dental care for the homeless community. In addition, Dr. Reyad enjoys traveling, working out, playing the keyboard, and spending time with his family.
